Reads input and output signals simultaneously

A high contrast LDC display shows readings for both input and output signals.
Readings are presented with unit indication and all other information of the instrument status.

Scaled reading and setting

Process signals such as mV, V, mA and Ohm represent engineering units. You can measure and simulate signal readings or setting in the engineering unit. This function allows to set °C for a mA output or to measure mA reading in °C.

Step mode

You can set output step by step of a fixed value, uphill or downhill, pressing the up or down arrow key. This function makes all calibration procedures and linearity check easier.

Preset memories

You can set and recall, with a 2 keys function, 3 output values, preset and stored for each range. This function can be used for standard check procedures on zero, middle and full scale values.

Output ramp mode

Output signals are incresed or decreased automatically proportional to the time. Number of cycles, travel limits, rest, travel and dwelling time can be set in an easy manner. Useful for dynamic testing of control loop.

Loop checking

Control loop performance can be checked with one instrument. The loop can be broken anyway, simulating sensors and both sink or source current and reading signals. This allows to control the loop manually.

Temperature sensor simulation

The calibrator measures and simulates 10 types of thermocouple and 2 types of RTD. Temperature can be set and read in °C or °F.
Temperature transmitter simulation and calibration You can simulate or read both 3 wire and 2 wire transmitters. The Calibrator provides loop power on both input and output section.
